1-1 or Small Group Tutoring Lessons
Tutoring with the History Tutor focus on knowledge and skills to ensure that you can be more successful in your final exams. As a Head of History at a successful private school, an AQA assessor, and a very successful teacher and tutor, you can trust that tutoring lessons with me with develop your skills and improve your grades.
Tutoring lessons are different to teaching and focus on improving knowledge and skills rather than being taught lessons, Therefore, my tutoring lessons normally have a pre-agreed topic that you recap beforehand. Then, in the lesson, I focus on your skills and your explanation of your knowledge.
However, if you have missed work and need to catch up then of course contact me and we can discuss the lessons you would like to be taught.
Tutoring lessons are £50 per hour if you commit to weekly lessons for at least 10 weeks. Students wishing to have occasional lessons are charged at £60 per hour.
Small group sessions are also available. It is £30 per person for one hour. This is only available for 3 or 4 people.
Intensive Holiday Revision
Alternatively, you may prefer intensive lessons during the holidays.These sessions are available in the morning between 8.30 am - 12 pm UK time.
Students will be given exam intensive sessions to test their knowledge and develop their skills. Alternatively, if you need recap of the course content this can be provided.
There are different plans available:
8.30 am - 9.30 am. 5 lessons for £200
9.45 am - 10.45 am. 5 lessons for £225
11 am - 12 am. 5 lessons £240.
If you wish to book 10 lessons then we can discuss an extra discount.

Lessons will be charged at the normal rate of £50 per hour.
